A hair clip combined with a brooch made of hitokoshi chirimen fabric - synthetic silk.
We call Japan the Land of Cherry Blossoms for a reason. Sakura, or a cherry tree, is a plant rooted in Japanese culture, having huge traditions and meaning there. Small, pink flowers are a symbol of Japan.
Sakura is also a symbol of the arrival of spring. This flower is the first to flourish after winter, which is why many see it as a symbol of rejuvenation and rebirth. The sakura tree is best known for its light pink colour and symbolism that stands behind this colour. It is a symbol of love, attachment and romance.
The clip is made entirely by hand from synthetic silk. It has a base of 28mm diameter silk-covered button. 2-way clip.

~About my kanzashi~
Each kanzashi is made out of hand-folded petals, which are made from individual squares of high-quality fabrics. As with all items you see online, please be aware that due to your monitor settings colors may be displayed slightly differently.
Kanzashi should be kept it out of sunlight and dust, preferably in a jewelry box (if you own more than one kanzashi it's good to add a lavender sachet to the box). I do my best to make Wisteria Garden's kanzashi durable, but as with any delicate material, care should be taken when handling and storing your piece.
